What is Telehealth or Tele Visit?

Healow Tele Visits are a safe and secure way for you to connect with your doctor remotely, via video and audio connection either on your smartphone or on your computer (with audio and video capabilities.)



How do I join a Tele Visit?

On your smartphone or computer:

• Click on the text or email link sent by your doctor's office.
• You can also join the visit by logging into the Healow app or Patient Portal.



On the day of your appointment:

• Choose a private location for your appointment
• Arrive early by logging into the Healow app, Patient Portal, or clicking the link within the email or text message your doctors office sent you.
• Fill out any questionnaires and vitals if applicable (answers are not mandatory on either form, but fill in what you can.)
• Click "Proceed" to check your computer's speed and ability to support a tele visit.
• Accept consent for a Tele Visit.
• Click "Start Tele Visit" and wait for physician to join.
• Your physician will begin the face-to-face tele visit and disconnect when the visit ends.



Does insurance cover Tele Visit?

Telehealth is the same as an office visit, except you are seeing your doctor virtually. The insurance copay, coinsurance, or deductible is applicable and will be billed after claim is processed.

Patients have the option of using our Tele Visit app or receiving a link by text to access an appointment.
